Sharing love with animals in need!

Rosie showed her love for animals in need by raising money for the Rancho Coastal Humane Society, where she adopted her beloved dog, Brie. Her 6th grade "shark tank" entrepreneurial project launched her successful Brie Scones business, named after Brie, where she made hundreds of scones and donated all profits to the shelter, earning a school record of over $950. When Rosie passed, friends and family honored her memory by donating to the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in lieu of flowers, contributing approximately $10,000 total.

Today, Rosie's love for RCHS continues through our therapy dog, Jack. Jack's story is RCHS from start to finish: he was rescued by RCHS, adopted from RCHS, trained through RCHS, and now volunteers through RCHS. Jack was recently invited to his first gala as a special therapy dog ambassador for the shelter's biggest fundraiser of the year, held at a country club in Del Mar. He charmed guests all evening and helped raise over $50,000 for animals in need. From $950 in scones, to $10,000 in Rosie's honor, to over $50,000 at the gala, Rosie's love keeps growing.
